GOOGLE AND FACEBOOK AUDIENCES

SCROLL

Would you like to know more about how we analyze audiences on platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics or Facebook? Then this informative capsule is for you. We tell you what they are, what they are for, the different types and how to get the most out of them.

Knowing the audiences to which we present our ads is crucial when launching campaigns, because if we do not segment them well, they will not reach their target audience. Today we talk about the different types of audiences in Google and Facebook.

First of all, what are audiences? Basically, they are the people to whom our ads will be shown. Knowing our audience well is essential for campaigns to work, and the more information we have about users, the better we can segment them.

Within Search advertising (demand-driven, advertising to a specific audience) and Display advertising (supply-driven, seeking to capture the attention and interest of users), we have several types of audiences:

  • Specific demographic groups: segmentation by country, age, gender and household income.
  • Afinidad: según intereses y hábitos.

  • Purchase intent audiences: reach users based on their recent purchase intent.

  • Website and app visitors: reach users who have visited your website or apps.

  • Segmentation by customer list: through databases (CRM)

  • Similar segments: reach new users who share interests with your website visitors or with customers you already have.

  • Keywords: using relevant keywords is another way to segment audiences.
